Worship and Music

Worship is a central part of the Christian Life at South End Baptist Church.
Special services to observe Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, as well as evangelistic emphases and other special times are planned during the year.
Children's Church is held for children in 1st through 6th grade during our morning worship service. The first half hour is worship time geared toward the kids with their own sermon. Extended Session, which is more than just a nursery, is available for the younger children . We attempt to teach and disciple even the youngest of our children.

Music is an important element of worship at South End.
Our worship service is led by our praise team. The songs are modern favorites (Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, etc). with some traditional and/or modern hymns mixed in.
The Praise Team practices on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Those interested in joining the praise team can contact our music director Chelsey Hahn for an audition.
